Day 4--McMinnville and Portland

Happy Mother's Day!

It was a relaxing morning of chatting over Brielle's biscuits and coffee after which we walked downtown to the Wild Wood Cafe for our 2nd breakfast (Brielle's pregnant...).  It was an awesome cafe and we had delicious scrambles, oatmeal-crusted French toast, and Mexican mochas.

We played with the Jackie and the chickens in Matt and Brielle's backyard.

Then we walked around the Saturday market which was full of fine crafts, baked goods, paintings and prints, jewelry, pottery and even pottery wheel lessons, and some pumpkin spice caramel corn!!

Then off to Portland we went!  Powell books was amazing, and being a Saturday was incredibly crowded.  You could tell where Phil had been by the giant pools of drool.  Everett and Daniella met us at the bookstore and we all headed to Deschutes Brewery for some refreshment.  Over beers, Everett shocked us all with the news that he and Daniella were gettting married.  Being so accustomed to his bs, we all thought he was joking at first.

We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out together, went out to an Indian restaurant for dinner, and returned to McMinnville.
